The new 25 mm and 20 mm binoculars bring honor to the name "Ultravid": a newly developed vulcanization method makes the rubber coating so inseparable from the metal housing that the most extreme stress cannot wear on it. The robustness is further evident through its industry-leading waterproof submersion rating of five meters (16.5 ft), the nitrogen filling to prevent fogging, and the high-quality accessories included.

LEICA ULTRAVID 8 x 20 BR
The shock-absorbant, impermeable to water pressure Ultravid with 20mm lens diameter, a large field of view of 113 m (341 ft) and an optimized close range of 1.8 m (7.2 ft). Very steady viewing through 8x magnification. Extremely brilliant image via the Leica HighLux system HLSTM. Total weight of only 240 grams (8.5 oz).

The 25 mm and 20 mm Ultravids are not only ultra-robust, but also meet the high optical level of the Ultravid class by using aspherical lens technology. This will be obvious to the viewer through a large image, focused up to the edges, and free of color fringes - previously almost unattainable at these lens diameters.
